Airfield Lighting Pty Ltd is a leading specialist in the monitoring, maintenance, compliance and design specification of Aerodrome Ground Lighting (AGL) systems. Airfield Lighting staff have combined AGL experience of over thirty years covering all facets of Aerodrome Lighting, including refurbishment, installation and design specification to comply with CASA and ICAO Standards.

Airfield Lighting is the Australian agent for MALMS - Mobile Airfield Lighting Monitoring System, which is the world leader in in-field photometric monitoring and inspection of AGL systems. MALMS was developed by Tailor Made Systems Ltd in the UK in conjunction with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the British Ministry of Defence. Airfield Lighting discovered the MALMS in 1999 when researching better methods of monitoring and maintaining AGL systems. Airfield Lighting was one of the first to purchase a MALMS unit, and is the only multi-airport operator in the world today.

Airfield Lighting keeps up to date with Australian & International Standards. Airfield Lighting is recognised by Australian and UK aviation peers as being a leading authority on AGL systems. In 2000 Airfield Lighting was requested by CASA to conduct training sessions for CASA Inspectors on AGL systems. In 2000 Airfield Lighting was also requested by the British Airport Authority to write a paper on methods of AGL refurbishment.

Airfield lighting was involved in the design and compliance monitoring of the new CAT IIIB runway and taxiway works at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi India (Due for completion in July 2008).
